I've buried all of our secrets. I kept them all in boxes lined with cotton at the bottom of my closet. But they whispered through my dreams and filled them with longing. I could not bear the sweetness and pain of it all. All these voices filling my heart, a constant chorus, an unforgettable song. So they needed to be underground. The earth knows how to swallow, the earth knows how to preserve. I will plant a seed over them, so that it can become a tree. Tall and wide and strong. Its roots will wrap themselves around them and drink from them, and taste them, and lick at them until they are dry and empty. Then in the spring they will bloom for us to see and make crowns to wear around campfires, under the stars.

  18. Hello, I was just wondering how you create the typography on those faded typewriter-type things you do? I have the font but I can't seem to get it quite right.

Beautiful blog, by the way, you seem like a very talented and lovely person. Are the embroideries available to order?
