It was my birthday on March 30th. I had such a nice quiet day with SleepyBear. We had a nice lunch and spent the afternoon reading in a patch of sunlight on our bed. And then we played computer games together well into the night. He made me dinner, and although there was no cake, I was so full of happiness and comfort, I did not even miss it. He had already given me my birthday present a few weeks earlier: a nice big drawing table with chair and lamp and adjustable legs and angle.
Now I'm one year older and I'm not sure how I feel. It's a bit of the same, but it's a bit different as well. I am anxious about the future and there are big decisions to be taken in the next couple of months. Ones I keep avoiding over and over again. But overall I like things the way they are, for now anyway. Spring is slowly coming and I feel inspired to do different things. Maybe this will be a good year.

p.s. the picture above is of my latest completed project. It is an embroidery version of my narwhal ship drawing. I think I am quite happy with it.

  4. It sounds like you had a lovely birthday! I find that as I get older birthdays don't feel like a huge change, but just something a little new.

I hope you will be able to make your big decisions without too much anxiety ♥ And your narwhal ship is just wonderful!
