I am swallowing books. Gulping them down. Barely chewing. Words get stuck in my teeth and whole characters at the back of my throat. Sentences dribbles in my oesophagus. Too fast, I sometimes choke. Choke on whole worlds, tiny universes. It's all sticky pages and blinding synthaxes. Craving, craving more. They might go away, they might go away. Please, don't let them get away (tie them with twine, swallow them with honey)
I want only stories to fill the spaces between my veins, and a library between my lungs.

  7. Oh, this is perfect, absolutely perfect. You make me impatient to run through a storybook forest. I can't wait until the summer, when I graduate, and then I will have endless hours of free time to read, read, read all the books I've been buying and hording over the past three years. Oh, I love it! xxxx

  14. "A room of one's own". I still need to buy a copy of it as I find the local library unable of providing me with one. In the meantime I soothe myself with "Mrs. Dalloway". Happy reading, you! :)

  15. Leaves filling our lungs, letters between our teeth, words being slowly chewed, lifes inside our life, characters living inside us. It is so beautiful to open a new book and smell its unique parfume! I wish I could speak properly. I would say what I feel in a better way if I spoke in spanish...Anyway. You have a beautiful blog. I'm definitely following The Woodland Library.
