I love winter.
I've been drawing a lot and made a cute little zine. I'm so proud of it! I still need to fix a few things, but I will soon be able to share it with all of you.
It feels so good to be creating again.
I've also spent a few days in Toronto to visit a friend of mine. I had never visited Toronto before and it was quite nice. I went to the coolest comic book store and wanted to buy way too many things! I love comics and graphic novels, I really do. I wish there were cool comic book stores everywhere (and cool, awesome, bestest friends to take you to them and to lend you theirs as well)
But most importantly, I love winter. I love the cold wind, the cold air and I love all of the warm tea I drink and the warm socks I wear. And I love Christmas.
And I love that I love my life again.

ReplyDeleteOh, this post is so sweet and happy. I can feel your enthusiasm in the words.
ReplyDeleteI love a good graphic novel as well. It's a nice change of pace.
Your zine sounds intriguing! I love it when people with lovely blogs create their own little book. Is it something you are going to print, or put it up on your blog? I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Your last line really made me smile.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely being creative, cannot wait to see your zine! And the last line is indeed, beautiful. :) I love winter too x

Oh I am so happy for you my dear! Creating can really be the best medicine when you are sad, whether it be writing or drawing or painting or taking photos, it is all lovely. Winter is quite special isn't it? I too have quite a love for the world covered in white, it almost seems more colorful that way, how everything glimmers off and reflects into the sky. I too have found myself re-inspired lately, I'm quite thrilled that you have found yourself again!

ReplyDeleteI adore winter, also the snow, and the hot chocolate. I'm from Argentina, but in my city never snows... only some frost water, that looks like rain... I have a dream, is stay in a snow place in Christmas..
I love how fragile and chrystallised the plants look in the winter photos! enjoy your tea and socks!
ReplyDeleteThis is so so beautiful my darling.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you love your life again :D
These photos are really breathtaking. They make me want to write stories about them...
Your photos are beautiful! I can't wait to see your zine. I've been wanting to put my own together as of late and I'm sure yours will be of much inspiration!
